Oath of Office
To the Bronx-Westchester Chapter of the NYSAFP:
"Mindful of the solemn responsibilities placed upon me,
and with the full realization that the greatness of the Academy,
the promulgation of its cause,
and the continuance of its high ideals,
is to demand selfless dedication
and high regard to its ethics,
I humbly join the ranks of my predecessors
to devote my energies,
to uphold and maintain the dignity
and official responsibilities of my elected-office,
This I do solemnly pledge."
