Minutes of the Fall BWAFP Board Meeting

The meeting was very short. The Agenda was: Health Policy Conference Friday October 1^st. Nominations for Family Doctor of the Year (by November 1^st, 99). Resolution for Congress 2000, Activities for Medical Students, Special Teaching Day for Residents, CPR Course.

Abraham Hamaoui, Joseph Halbach, Gerard Germain and Eileen Fong were present. The minutes of the Spring meeting were approved. The website was lauded. No nominations were made, nor were any resolutions drafted. The ALSO was reported on schedule, although not many participants had signed up. The meeting to discuss ongoing scope of practice is to continue to be planned. Possibly Maternity Care in the New Millenium or Perspectives for the Family Physician. The last two items of the agenda were transferred to our next meeting in January. With nothing more on the agenda the meeting was closed.
